Learning objectives

Understand IT system

I used to work as a director of local NGO in Vietnam so I have been accessing Computer from 1993 and Internet from 1996. I usually use computer and Internet as a tool to manage information, communication, prepare for presentation, access information and entertainment.
For example
- Manage information: I use Word and Excel to filling my work, my information
- Communication: I use Yahoo, Google to email, chat with others
- Prepare presentation: I use Power Point to prepare presentation
- Access information: I read electronic newspaper, searching information
- Entertainment: I play game as chess, watch movie and so on
As conclusion, I use IT as a user and I do not understand the system. I hope this course will bring me the opportunities to understand IT system.

Improve communication skill by IT

I would like to have chances to use blog as a tool to improve my communication and also learn how to make a virtual team to work. I also think to apply blog to set up as website for each project to communication more effectively.

Improve managerial decision making

Usually I feel it is difficult to have good decision when working online. I expected this course will help me to improve that.

Get more idea how to change the marketing system in the NGO using IT

When I managed my organization, I found our weakness was marketing. I hope to have more idea to do marketing online for my organization.
